Dear Readers,

This is, sadly, my final semester as the President of MiNT Magazine, though only partway through my third at Geneseo. Though I’ll be sticking around the magazine I’m nevertheless a little sad my time as President is coming to an end. MiNT has been the first literary magazine I worked on, and the first one where some of my own work was published. As such it holds a special place in my heart. Getting a chance to work on an amazing outlet for creative expression such as this has meant so much to me and to my other fellow e-board members, past, current, and future. To everyone who submitted their creative works this semester, it was wonderful looking at everyone’s pieces and seeing the breadth of visual art, photography, poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and critical essays that people wanted to share. All of you whose work was selected to be published in this semester’s issue should be proud, there’s nothing like seeing your work published for everyone to see and is something you will always be able to look back on and feel pride. This is a creative work that no one but you could have made, and it only exists because you chose to create it. MiNT Magazine is about providing an outlet to showcase the works of students, for yourselves and for everyone else who might care to take a look. This is my first semester as editor and so I hope all of you enjoy reading this magazine as much as myself and the e-board enjoyed putting it all together. We also apologize for publishing late, but have chosen to think of this as an excuse to have two MiNT Launch Parties instead of one. Thanks to all of you for sharing your work, and waiting for publication. Now enjoy the magazine ahead!
